Department of Information Technology

As a response to the exponentially growing market for information technology, it has been introduced as a new branch for both Degree and Diploma courses in our institution. The Information Technology branch commences from the academic year 2001-2002, for degree as will as diploma engineering courses.

The IT lab has been well-furnished with highly configured computer systems in order to facilitate the students with the best machines to give them enough IT exposure. The IT lab has been well-equipped with Window-NT 4.0 networking with P-IV server with specification as-1.2GHz,20GB HDD,128 MB RAM, along with 25-III nodes of  850 MHz, 20GB HDD, 64 MB RAM with multimedia.

We have recently installed 40 Brand New IBM PCs with 24hours Free Internet Surfing facility through High Speed VSAT Internet Connectivity.
