Computers and Information Technology Department shares their Laboratories for
optimal use of resources and the following Lab Set-up describes details of Hardware,
Operating System, Application Software installed laboratories.

Network-I Lab | This
lab was established considering needs of learning Novell OS. All the machines
here are equipped with NOVELL 5.12 Netware Version with 1 Server and 25 clients
and is generally used for First Year Computer Programming, Second Year Programming
Laboratory-1 & Data Structure & Files, Third Year System Programming,
Microprocessor-3. | | 2 | Unix
Lab | This
lab is equipped with UNIX Operating System with 1 Server and 16 dumb terminals
and is generally used for learning UNIX Commands and shell controls. |

and Microprocessor Lab | This
labs is well equipped with a no of 8085, 8086 kits to perform the Digital &
Microprocessers practicals. This includes instruments like CROS different ICs
etc. It is generally used for Second Year Digital Lab works and Third Year Digital
System & Design.

are soon replacing all 486 machines installed in this lab with P-4 Computers networked

lab is having Windows 2000 Operating System with Softwares like Rational Rose,

BE SE, Computer Network, Object Oriented Modulling Design & Architecture,
TE Microprocessor-2, Software Engineering, and Computer Graphics, SE Direct Structure
& Graph Theory, Programming Laboratory-2 | | 6 | Windows
NT Lab | Its
Network Server based Lab using Windows NT 4.0 OS with P-4 Systems and Dial-up
PSTN Internet Connectivity. It is generally used for BE Computer Graphics, TE
Application Development Tool Laboratory, SE Direct Structure & Graph Theory.

P-4 Systems with Oracle-9i RDBMS database and other softwares. It is generally
