this lab. Facility exists for various tests are on soil
to determine the properties of soil both as a construction
and foundation material. Index properties, engineering
properties and shear strength parameters can be evaluated
for design of foundation and earth structures. |

Fluid Mechanics lab |
It
is core lab. This lab caters to the requirements of Mechanical
Engg., Production Engg. And Chemical Engg. Departments
as well wind tunnel and various turbines are available
in hydraulics machines lab. |

Engineering lab |
Various
tests are carried out on samples of water and swage, facility
exists for testing industrial samples as well. |

Mechanics |
It
is a basic core lab. Common to all branches, Concepts
of laws of static's & Dynamics are clarified practically
to students at first year level. |

Geology Lab |
This
laboratory deals with identification of rocks and mineral
specimens. Study on site selection based on geological
aspects is emphasized and facility for field tests on
locations of ground water level exists. |

Surveying |
It
is a core lab. At first year level dealing with distances
and levels. Sophisticated Electronics & Digital surveying
are available for advanced surveying for Civil Engg. Students.
